Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application for the Stockgro Scholarship Program, you agree to abide by and be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

2. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Stockgro Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens.

  • Applicants must be enrolled in or have received admission to a UG or PG program in a UGC-accredited college as of March-April 2023.

Stockgro reserves the right to perform due diligence for verifying the documents uploaded by each applicant.
 

3. Application Process

Applicants must submit a complete scholarship application by the specified deadline, including all required materials such as essays, resumes and recommendations. Relevant supporting documents will be required before / on or after allocation of the applicable scholarship amount.

 

4. Scholarship Awards

Stockgro, under the Big Dream Stockgro Scholarship Program will grant up to INR 50,000/- per applicant. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution of the scholarship recipient to cover tuition and educational expenses.

 

5. Selection Process

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Application form responses.

  • Interview performance.

  • Academic and co-curricular achievements.

  • The decisions of the selection committee shall be final and binding.

Meeting the eligibility criteria and applying for the Scholarship Program does not guarantee selection. Stockgro shall not entertain any correspondence with regards to the non-selection of the applicants. The decision of Stockgro with regard to the Scholarship Program and the declaration of the winners shall be final and binding.

 

6. Notification and Acknowledgment

Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award by email. Recipients must acknowledge receipt of the award within 14 days of receiving the notification to claim the scholarship.

 

7. Scholarship Use and Funds

Scholarship funds must be used for educational expenses- college fee, admission fee or the professional exam fee. Recipients are responsible for ensuring the appropriate use of scholarship funds in accordance with educational institution policies.

 

8. Termination and Forfeiture

Stockgro reserves the right to terminate a scholarship award if recipients fail to meet academic or behavioural standards or violate any applicable laws or policies. In the event that any document or information is discovered to be false or misleading at any stage, the application will be nullified. If at any point of time during the period of scholarship or even later it is found that any of the particulars mentioned in the form are/were false and/or misleading or that the applicant has wilfully suppressed any material facts, Stockgro will be at liberty to withdraw the scholarship allotted to such recipient and the recipient will be obligated to reimburse the benefits obtained back to StockGro accordingly.

 

9. Publicity and Privacy

By accepting the Stockgro Scholarship, Recipient agrees that Stockgro reserves the right, to use the photograph /profile of the Recipient for future publication use; and/or disclosures; and/or for communication purposes with Stockgro’s stakeholders; and/or for submissions before various authorities and interested parties from time to time for reporting progress thereof; and/or for use in corporate br/ochures, websites, social media, archives and other publicity material, if any in relation to its activities, without any monetary compensation payable to any Recipient and without any restriction to its frequency and use. Stockgro will collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

 

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Stockgro reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, (i) to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time (ii) to suspend, terminate or cancel the scholarship. Recipients will be notified of changes through email. Please check the terms and any guidelines periodically for changes. 

 

11. Governing Law and Contact Information

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru only. 12. Fund Disbursement and Utilization Deadline

  • Scholarship funds will be transferred only to the bank account of a recognized and registered educational institute in India.

  • The transfer process will require the student's consent and involvement and admission information; direct transfers to individuals are not permitted.

  • Scholarship funds must be utilized by 30th April 2025.

  • Free access to Stockgro Academy may end 90 days after the issue date. Standard charges may be applicable post expiry.
     

13. Geographical Limitation and Proof Requirements

  • Scholarships are exclusively for students attending institutes located within India.

  • Scholarship recipients may be required to provide valid proof of how the scholarship funds were utilized.

  • Applicants shall provide a government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/PAN card)  to present proof of identity during the award process.
