Business segments performance

Unitary cooling products (UCP): The Unitary Cooling Products business, which includes air conditioners, room coolers, and other cooling products, has continued to drive Voltas’ growth. This segment saw a massive 36% growth in volume for FY25. In fact, air coolers saw an even bigger jump in growth, with volumes rising over 70%.

Electro-mechanical projects and services (EMPs): Voltas’ Electro-mechanical Projects and Services segment also performed well, with revenue increasing by 13% to ₹4,157 crore in FY25. Losses in this segment were reduced from ₹108 crore to just ₹2 crore, thanks to better project execution and improved order booking.

Engineering products and services (EPC): However, the Engineering Products and Services segment faced some challenges in FY25 due to macroeconomic factors and industry-specific hurdles. Revenue in this segment dropped to ₹569 crore from ₹588 crore in the previous year, but this decline was offset by strong performances in the other segments.

Despite some challenges in the Engineering Products and Services segment, the overall performance has been strong enough to warrant optimism from investors.
