In a matter of no time, he pinned to his wallet funding of Rs. 30 lakhs from VentureNursery, an accelerator firm which brought together a bunch of investors to nurture startups.

OYO’s success lies in its innovative business model that focuses on transforming budget hotels into standardised, tech-enabled accommodations. Ritesh introduced the concept of franchising budget hotels under the OYO brand, providing them with standardised amenities, technology integration, and a digital platform for bookings.
