Strengths of Technocraft Ventures
- Technocraft Ventures works across water supply, wastewater, roads, electrical projects and urban infrastructure. This reduces its reliance on a single project category.
- The company handles several stages of execution in-house, from engineering and procurement to construction, commissioning and maintenance.
- It has experience delivering projects under central and state government programmes, which supports its ability to participate in public-sector tenders.
- As of 31 March 2026, the company had an order book of ₹1,235.90 crore. This offers some visibility over work scheduled for execution.
- Its internal engineering teams manage project design, planning and site supervision across different infrastructure segments.
Risks of Technocraft Ventures
- A large share of the company’s work comes from government contracts. Any slowdown in public spending or delay in tenders could affect new orders and revenue.
- Technocraft Ventures wins projects through competitive bidding. Tender cancellations, revised eligibility rules or disputes with rival bidders may reduce its chances of securing contracts.
- Customer concentration remains high. Its five largest customers contributed 80.41% of revenue from operations in FY26.
- The business is also concentrated in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Changes in local policies or project approvals in these states could affect execution.
- EPC projects need substantial working capital before client payments are received. Slower collections may raise borrowing needs or delay project progress.
- The RHP also discloses legal proceedings involving the company, its promoters and certain senior management personnel. It notes delays relating to CSR obligations and some statutory records.
Technocraft Ventures IPO Review
Technocraft Ventures reported better earnings over the past three financial years. Total income moved from ₹227.30 crore in FY24 to ₹347 crore in FY26. Profit after tax rose more sharply, increasing from ₹19.05 crore to ₹43.32 crore.
Its FY26 ROCE was 27.72%. The debt-to-equity ratio stood at 0.55, indicating lower reliance on debt compared with earlier years.
The company works across water, wastewater, roads, urban infrastructure and electrical EPC projects. Much of its business, however, depends on government contracts, a limited customer base and regular working capital funding.
The price band is still awaited, so it is too early to judge whether the IPO is fairly valued. Investors may assess the final pricing, peer valuations and subscription response before applying.
