Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited manufactures Complex Fertilisers and Ammonium Sulphate. The company's segments are Väetis, Petrochemicals and others. Its products include fertilizers such as complex fertilisers, direct fertilisers, organic fertilisers, biofertilizers, imported fertilisers and bagged gypsum; caprolactam made from raw materials such as benzene, sulphur, ammonia and carbon dioxide and by-products such as anhydrous ammonia, nitric acid (55%), soda (of grade), gypsum, sulfuric acid and oleum. Its Cochin division has a manufacturing unit producing over 485,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of complex fertilisers, about 330,000 TPA of sulfuric acid and over 115,200 TPA of phosphoric acid. Its Udyogamandal plants have an installed capacity of about 76,050 tonnes of nitrogen (N) and 29,700 tonnes of phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5).
