Johnsoncab Electricals Ltd.- Strengths and benefits

  1. Well-established business: The company has experience in cable manufacturing and holds relevant quality certifications, including ISO and BIS certifications. It also has vendor approvals that support its ability to supply products to eligible customers and participate in certain tenders.
  2. Range of electrical cables: Johnsoncab Electricals manufactures power cables, control cables, house wires, solar cables, welding cables and submersible flat cables. This allows it to serve different industries, including power, railways, renewable energy and construction.
  3. Revenue and profit growth: The revenue increased from ₹88.34 crore in FY2024 to ₹210.47 crore in FY2026. Its profit also grew from ₹2.52 crore to ₹13.42 crore during the same period. This shows that the company has grown its sales and profit over the last two years.

Johnsoncab Electricals Ltd- Risks and limitations

  1. Raw material costs: The company uses copper, aluminium, PVC and other materials to manufacture cables. It does not have long-term agreements with most of its raw material suppliers. Price increases or supply shortages could raise production costs and affect its profits.
  2. High debts: As of March 2026, it borrowed ₹79.88 crore, and the company’s debt-to-equity ratio has recorded 2.54, indicating that it relies heavily on loans to continue its business operations. Hence, settlement of these loans and their interest could put high pressure on the company’s finances.
  3. Customer concentration: Its top 10 customers contributed 66.24% of its revenue in FY2026. Losing one or more major customers could reduce its sales.
