GAIL (India) Limited is a natural gas processing and distribution company based in India. The company's segments include electricity transmission services, natural gas market, petrochemicals, liquefied natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons, and others. Its transmission services segment includes natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Its Others segment includes City Gas Distribution (CGD), GAIL Tel, Exploration and Production (E&P) and Power Generation. It has advantages in the acquisition and trading of natural gas, the production of LPG, liquid hydrocarbons and petrochemical products, and the transmission of natural gas and LPG through pipelines. The Company owns and operates approximately 14,500 kilometers (km) of natural gas pipeline network. It is also focused on expanding its presence in renewable energy such as solar, wind and biofuels. Its subsidiaries include GAIL Global (Singapore) PTE Ltd, GAIL Global (USA) Inc., GAIL GAS Limited, Tripura Natural Gas Co Ltd., Bengal Gas Limited and Konkan LNG Limited.
