IndiaMART Latest Updates

INDIAMART
Financial Performance IndiaMART reported a consolidated revenue of ₹404.30 crore for Q4 FY26, a 14% year-on-year (YoY) increase. However, net profit for the quarter saw a sharp 72.2% decline to ₹50.20 crore, down from ₹180.60 crore in the same period last year. This dip was primarily attributed to negative "other income" resulting from mark-to-market losses on the treasury portfolio and higher operating expenses. For the full year FY26, revenue grew 13% to ₹1,569 crore, while annual net profit fell 14% to ₹474.70 crore. Operational Metrics and Supplier Base The total number of paying suppliers stood at 2,28,000 at the end of FY26. While there was an annual increase of 3,200 suppliers, the fourth quarter witnessed a net decline of 1,200 paying suppliers. This contraction was largely due to price hikes in the "Silver" subscription tier, which led to elevated churn in that segment. Conversely, the "Gold" and "Platinum" segments—which contribute over 75% of revenue—showed stable retention and upsell rates. Unique business inquiries for the quarter remained steady at 27 million. Subsidiary Growth (Busy Infotech) Busy Infotech, the company’s accounting software subsidiary, reported significant momentum with Q4 revenue of ₹34 crore and full-year revenue of ₹119 crore. The segment's deferred revenue grew by 44% YoY to ₹124 crore. The company sold approximately 45,000 new licenses during the fiscal year, and plans are underway to integrate conversational AI tools into the software to enhance user experience. Dividends and Cash Position The Board of Directors has recommended a total dividend of ₹60 per equity share for FY26. This payout consists of a final dividend of ₹30 and a special dividend of ₹30, subject to shareholder approval. Despite the dip in quarterly profit, the company’s cash and treasury balance remains robust at ₹3,280 crore as of March 31, 2026, supported by strong cash generation from operations totaling ₹694 crore for the full year.
