IndusInd Bank reports 11% growth in net advances in Q2FY27

IndusInd Bank’s net advances stood at Rs 3,62,393 crore as of September 30, 2026 (Q2FY27), posting 11.20% growth in year-on-year against Rs 3,25,881 crore as of September 30, 2025. Deposits of the bank increased by 10.12% to Rs 4,29,038 crore as of September 30, 2026, as compared to Rs 3,89,600 crore as of September 30, 2025. Meanwhile, CASA Ratio stood at 28.0% as of September 30, 2026 versus 30.7% as of September 30, 2025. Impact : The steep drop in the bank's CASA ratio to 28.0% (down from 29.4% QoQ and 30.7% YoY) will act as a direct margin headwind. Replacing cheap current and savings accounts with expensive term deposits or foreign currency FCNR(B) inflows systematically raises the overall cost of funds. View : IndusInd Bank expects short-term pressure on its Q2FY27 NIM, tracking near or just below its core baseline. Despite strong business growth marking a healthy exit from its consolidation phase, rising funding costs continue to dominate investor attention. Disclosure : I do not hold any position in the mentioned stock. Disclaimer : Investment in securities are subject to market risk. This is only for educational purpose.

IndusInd Bank expands HYROX partnership across cities

IndusInd Bank expands HYROX partnership across cities

INDUSINDBK
IndusInd Bank Limited (NSE: INDUSINDBK) has expanded its partnership with HYROX India across multiple cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Noida. Under the partnership, bank customers will receive exclusive cashback offers and race-day benefits. The initiative is aimed at increasing the bank's engagement with the growing fitness and sports community. The partnership provides IndusInd Bank with an additional platform to engage with younger and fitness-focused customers. However, the direct financial impact is likely to remain limited unless the association translates into higher customer acquisition or card usage. I will watch whether the partnership leads to measurable growth in customer engagement, transactions or new customer acquisition. View: Neutral. The partnership supports customer engagement and brand visibility, but there is currently no clear material impact on earnings.
