$KAYNES Q1 FY27 Financial Performance & Profit Compression On August 7, 2026, Kaynes Technology reported a 40% year-on-year surge in consolidated operational revenue to ₹946 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. EBITDA grew 30% YoY to ₹147.6 crore. However, consolidated net profit (PAT) declined 24.4% YoY to ₹56.4 crore (down from ₹74.6 crore in Q1 FY26), impacted by a 137% jump in plant capitalization depreciation costs (₹37 crore), elevated finance charges, and higher raw material expenses. Semiconductor Supply Chain Expansion Under ISM 2.0 Following the commercial operationalization of its ₹3,307 crore OSAT plant in Sanand, Gujarat, subsidiary Kaynes Semicon is in advanced talks with global technology majors to form joint ventures in wafer fabrication, specialized materials, and equipment manufacturing. The firm is preparing to submit project applications by mid-August 2026 under the central government's newly approved ₹1.28 lakh crore India Semiconductor Mission (ISM 2.0). Order Book Backlog Kaynes entered the current fiscal year with a cumulative order book exceeding ₹8,000 crore. The backlog provides strong multi-quarter revenue visibility across its core Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) verticals, high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs, and expanding aerospace and defense packaging frameworks. Governance & Board Appointments Through postal ballot proceedings, the company sought shareholder ratification for the appointment of Mr. Rajesh Mittal and former ISRO scientist Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai as Independent Directors on its Board. In corporate audit oversight, the board approved the re-appointment of M/s Brahmayya & Co. as internal auditors for FY27.
