Kitex Garments Ltd Company Fundamental Analysis
KITEX Kitex Garments Ltd is an Indian textile and apparel manufacturer specialising in infant and children's garments. The company primarily manufactures knitted garments for international markets and supplies products to global retailers and private-label brands. Its competitive strengths include experience in infant-wear manufacturing, established export relationships and integrated production capabilities. Q2 FY27 results, announced on 2 November 2026, show a sharp recovery from the previous quarter. Consolidated revenue from operations increased 66.3% year-on-year to approximately ₹203 crore, compared with ₹122.1 crore in Q2 FY26. The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹13.71 crore, against a loss of ₹6.22 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Operating EBITDA improved to ₹54.77 crore from a loss of ₹3.57 crore in Q2 FY26, with the operating margin recovering to approximately 27%. This is a meaningful turnaround after Q1 FY27, when consolidated revenue fell 19.45% to ₹158.43 crore and the company reported a net loss of ₹17.12 crore. The latest market data from 30 October 2026 showed a share price of approximately ₹114, market capitalisation of around ₹2,277 crore and a negative trailing earnings profile, making the conventional P/E ratio unsuitable for valuation. The stock has also fallen approximately 47% over the past year, reflecting weak earnings and business uncertainty. The company has announced a fundraising plan of up to ₹3,000 crore through QIP or other permissible routes to support its expansion plans. Overall Kitex Garments has shown a significant Q2 earnings recovery, but one profitable quarter does not yet establish a sustainable turnaround. Its long-term potential depends on export demand, capacity utilisation, execution of the Telangana expansion and improvement in cash flows.
