Ramky Infrastructure Ltd Company Fundamental Analysis

RAMKY Ramky Infrastructure Ltd is an Indian infrastructure and engineering company operating through engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts and developer-led projects. Its key areas include industrial infrastructure, water and wastewater treatment, buildings, roads and bridges, and urban infrastructure solutions. The company benefits from government and private-sector spending on infrastructure, industrial development and water management. As of March 2026, its consolidated order book stood at approximately ₹13,000 crore, led by industrial projects worth ₹8,000 crore and water and wastewater projects worth ₹3,500 crore. This provides revenue visibility, although timely project execution and collections remain important. In Q1 FY27, consolidated revenue from operations increased approximately 24.3% year-on-year to ₹471.2 crore, but net profit declined around 49.6% to ₹38.8 crore. The difference between revenue growth and profit performance indicates pressure on profitability and highlights the need to monitor project margins and other income. For FY26, consolidated revenue from operations was approximately ₹1,846 crore, down from ₹2,045 crore in FY25. The order book is a positive factor, but it must translate into profitable execution rather than revenue alone. At the latest available market snapshot, Ramky Infrastructure was trading near ₹256 per share, with a market capitalisation of about ₹1,773 crore, a P/E ratio of approximately 9.5x and a price-to-book ratio of around 0.82x. ROCE was 13.5%, while ROE was 9.7%. These factors warrant attention alongside the company’s order-book growth. Overall, Ramky Infrastructure has a sizeable project pipeline and exposure to long-term infrastructure demand, but the investment case depends on improving core profitability, cash collection and returns on capital. The low headline P/E should not be considered sufficient evidence of undervaluation on its own.
