NBCC Gains After Five-Month Low; ₹145 Crore Orders in Focus

NBCC share price rose 0.89% to ₹81.41 on September 16 after touching a five-month low, while fresh orders worth ₹144.98 crore supported business momentum.

NBCC
shares gained 0.89% to close at ₹81.41 on September 16, 2026, recovering from a five-month low touched during the trading session. Despite the day's rebound, the stock has remained under pressure in recent months following a strong rally earlier this year. Between the end of March and mid-June, NBCC shares advanced nearly 47%. However, the subsequent correction has wiped out a significant portion of those gains, keeping the stock well below its recent highs. On the business front, the company secured work orders worth approximately ₹144.98 crore, excluding GST. The contracts were awarded by North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant, the Enforcement Directorate’s Bhubaneswar Zonal Office, and Damodar Valley Corporation. The largest order, valued at ₹55.91 crore, pertains to external repair and painting work at Bokaro Steel City Township. Other projects include residential-quarter upgrades, crane-equipped sheds, township consultancy services, office renovation work, and the construction of an officers’ dormitory. The latest order wins underscore NBCC’s continued project inflows, providing a positive business update even as the stock remains below its recent peak levels. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is for information only and not investment advice.
