Shriram Finance rises 16.76% weekly after nine red weeks
Shriram Finance closed the week ended 6 November 2026 at ₹961.15, up 16.76%, with ₹990 as the next resistance level to watch. Shriram Finance Limited [ SHRIRAMFIN ] closed the week ended 6 November 2026 at ₹961.15, up 16.76% or ₹138. It was the first green weekly close after nine straight red weeks. The rally came as the Nifty rose for seven straight sessions, gaining about 10.27% from the 28 October close of 22,698.85 to 25,030.35 on 6 November. The stock’s weekly gain was far above the index’s 8.58%. Before this, the stock fell to an 11-month low on 26 October after the company cut its FY27 AUM growth guidance to 15-17% from 18% and flagged higher credit costs. Price then slipped below ₹860, an earlier support zone, but the week closed back above it. Weekly RSI is at 48.58, close to the neutral 50 mark. Momentum has turned positive, while the broader trend remains sideways. What next: ₹990 is the near-term resistance, and a weekly close above it may improve the trend picture. On the downside, ₹810 is the support to watch, and a weekly close below it may weaken the setup. Conclusion: The bounce is sharp, but a sideways trend may need a move above ₹990 to confirm a change.
