Hero MotoCorp reports October total sales of 734,403 units

dispatched 734,403 units in October 2026. That is 15.51% higher than the 635,808 units dispatched in October 2025. The company sold 98,595 more units than a year ago. These are wholesale dispatches to dealers, not retail registrations. They show what the company shipped, not what customers bought. Why it matters: October is a festive month, and two-wheeler makers build dealer stock ahead of retail demand. A double-digit year-on-year gain shows the company pushed volumes into the channel with confidence. My view: The growth is real, but the month-on-month trend needs a look. September 2026 dispatches were 766,348 units, up about 11.5% from 687,220 units a year earlier. October’s growth of 15.51% is faster than September’s. Yet October’s volume is about 4.2% below September’s. So the year-on-year gain comes partly from a weak base, not only from stronger absolute volumes. The festive build-up appears to have started in September. I read this as healthy demand, with some stock already pulled forward. What I am watching: Retail registration data for October, to see if dealer stock is selling through. If dispatches stay above retail for another month, inventory could build up.
