GNFC declares dividend and appoints Sanjeev Kumar as MD
GNFC
GNFC Ltd approved a ₹21 per‑share dividend at its 50th AGM and named Sanjeev Kumar (IAS) as Managing Director.
The stock jumped 11 % to ₹599 after strong FY26 results and renewed investor confidence.
At its 50th Annual General Meeting on September 16 2026, GNFC shareholders cleared all six resolutions with > 99 % approval.
The company reported FY26 revenue of ₹7,773 crore (+ 36 % YoY) and PAT of ₹797 crore (+ 36 %).
Dividend payout totals ₹308.6 crore (210 %), reflecting robust cash flows and negative net debt of ₹1,109 crore.
Operationally, GNFC set 30 production records and plans capacity expansion at Bharuch and Dahej.
Why it matters:
The leadership change and high dividend signal confidence in growth visibility across fertiliser and chemical segments.
Chemical margins remain strong while fertiliser losses narrow on better realisation.
My view:
GNFC’s balance sheet and cash position make it a defensive PSU play amid volatile commodity prices.
I expect ₹560 as support and ₹620 as resistance in the near term.
Sustained chemical profitability and project execution could drive FY27 EPS above ₹60.
Close
