Nifty Pre-Open: Channel Breakout Confirmed, Gap-Up Likely

Nifty delivered the most meaningful technical development of this entire corrective phase yesterday, closing above both the falling window resistance at 24,287 and the falling channel's upper boundary, at 24,320. This flips 24,300–24,225 from resistance into the immediate support zone to watch. Gift Nifty is trading 100–120 points above yesterday's close, pointing to a strong gap-up open that would further validate the breakout. A sustained hold above 24,300 keeps the path open toward 24,407 and then 24,480. Only a 30-min close back below 24,225 would suggest a false breakout, pulling the index back into the channel with 24,130 as the next reference. Bottom line: bias has turned positive for the first time since the correction began — every dip toward 24,300–24,225 might now attract buying, unless that support fails to hold.

LODHA
has broken out of its descending trendline resistance, now trading at 1,280.2, with RSI at 67.24 confirming strong momentum. A hold above this breakout zone keeps the setup constructive for further upside. When a resistance level is reclaimed and closed above decisively, it often flips into support on the very next test — watching how price behaves at that flipped level is one of the clearest ways to confirm whether a breakout is holding.
