Sterlite Tech: Record Q2 Meets Support Retest

STLTECH
reported a strong Q2 FY27. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 2,529 crore from Rs 1,034 crore a year ago, and EBITDA to Rs 846 crore from Rs 141 crore. Net profit was Rs 517 crore against Rs 4 crore, though a one-time tariff refund gain helped. Excluding it, CLSA puts adjusted EBITDA at about Rs 650 crore, a margin of roughly 25.7%. Management called it the highest revenue and EBITDA in the company’s history, driven by demand for optical fibre cable from AI-ready data centres. The open order book stood at Rs 35,274 crore. ( Source: Moneycontrol) The shares closed 4.95% higher at Rs 867.55 on Monday on the NSE. On the daily chart, the stock moved above the 700 area in September, a long-standing resistance, and peaked near 1,050 in early October. It then pulled back to the 786 support, bounced, and now trades near 868, with RSI at 49.25 after cooling from overbought levels. Support: 786, then 700. Resistance: 910-915, then 1,050. How the stock reacts around 910-915 will be worth observing after this bounce from support. Strong results can lift a stock off support, but a one-time gain flatters profit, so looking at adjusted numbers alongside the chart gives a clearer picture.
