Data Patterns faces pressure after weak Q2 profit

Data Patterns fell as much as 4.3% in Muhurat trading on 8 November 2026 as Q2 profit dropped 55.6%; the weekly chart shows 3,565 support and 4,150 resistance. Data Patterns (India) Ltd. [ DATAPATTNS ] fell as much as 4.3% in opening Muhurat trading on Sunday, 8 November 2026. The session ended 1.7% lower, marking a third straight decline and taking the cumulative fall to 9%. In its Q2 consolidated results, profit fell 55.6% year on year to Rs 21.8 crore from Rs 49.2 crore. Revenue was reported at Rs 133.3 crore against Rs 307.5 crore, although the stated 56.7% growth does not match those figures. The reported numbers therefore need checking before drawing a conclusion on sales growth. On the weekly chart, the price action looks like a rounding top near the highs. The pattern may point to weakening momentum, but it remains a chart reading. The levels provided are 3,565 as support and 4,150 as resistance. In my view, the setup remains cautious. A move above 4,150 would bring improving price strength into focus. A fall below 3,565 would weaken the structure further. The next watch is how price behaves around these two levels. Stance: Neutral while below 4,150, with 3,565 as the key support. Disclaimer: I do not hold any position in this.
