Coal India Production Rises 8% to 50.36 MT in July Despite Rainfall Challenges
$COALINDIA Limited reported an 8.4% year-on-year increase in coal production to 50.36 million tonnes in July 2026, overcoming challenges from monsoon rains. The company also achieved record July coal supplies of 64.19 million tonnes, up 18.4% from the previous year. Supplies to the power sector rose 18% to 49.77 MT. Cumulative supplies for April-July reached a record 262 MT.
