Mamata Machinery Q2 turns to ₹1 Cr net loss
MAMATA Mamata Machinery Limited (MAMATA) reported a net loss of ₹1 Cr in Q2FY27 against a net profit of ₹5 Cr in the year-ago quarter. The loss narrowed from ₹3 Cr in the previous quarter Revenue declined 23% YoY to ₹41 Cr but rose 13% QoQ. EBITDA swung to a loss of ₹1 Cr from a profit of ₹7 Cr YoY, though the loss narrowed from ₹5 Cr in the prior quarter. EBITDA margin stood at -2.1% versus 12.7% YoY and -13.0% QoQ. The company swung to losses year-on-year on lower revenue, while sequential losses narrowed. The key triggers are the swing to a ₹1 Cr net loss and EBITDA loss amid a 23% YoY revenue decline to ₹41 Cr, even as losses narrowed sequentially. This reflects a weak quarterly performance for the packaging machinery maker. Peers such as Rajoo Engineers, Lokesh Machines and other smaller industrial machinery firms may face comparison on revenue trends and margin recovery. Near-term prices could react negatively to the year-on-year shift to losses. Risks include prolonged weakness in customer demand, delayed order execution, or continued margin pressure.
