SBI Life faces cloud resistance after ₹1,662 close

SBI Life Insurance Company closed at ₹1,661.80, and the immediate picture remains weak despite the modest gain on the day. Price is below the conversion line at ₹1,694.40, the base line near ₹1,713, and the Ichimoku cloud, which begins around ₹1,703.70. This stacks several resistance layers above the market and shows that the prevailing trend has not yet turned in favour of buyers.

SBILIFE
candles have pushed toward the ₹1,650 area, making this the first level that needs to hold. A sustained break beneath it can extend the decline toward the next visible support band around ₹1,620–1,600. The chart does not show a clean reversal pattern yet; it shows a stock trying to arrest a fall below a descending cloud. A recovery needs to unfold in stages. First, SBI Life must reclaim ₹1,694, which is the conversion-line hurdle. Next comes ₹1,703–1,713, where the cloud edge and base line converge. Only a close above this cluster would weaken the bearish Ichimoku setup and open room toward ₹1,775. Until that happens, any bounce is better viewed as a test of overhead supply. The insurance space may retain long-term interest, but this daily chart calls for price confirmation: hold ₹1,650, reclaim ₹1,694, then challenge the cloud. Without that sequence, sellers retain the technical advantage.
