KPR Mill Quater Two Profit Jumps 58.2% Y-o-Y
KPR Mill Limited reported a 58.2% year-on-year rise in Q2 FY27 net profit to ₹345 crore, supported by strong revenue growth and improved margins. Revenue increased 19% to ₹1,940 crore, while EBITDA surged 58.6% to ₹498 crore. EBITDA margin expanded to 25.7% from 19.2% a year ago, indicating improved operating profitability. My view: Margin expansion is the key positive, as EBITDA growth significantly outpaced revenue growth. The next quarter will be important to assess whether margins can sustain above 25% and earnings momentum continues. KPR Mill closed at ₹1,095 on October 28, with the reported price action showing a 5.34% upper move. Despite strong results, I would watch subsequent earnings for confirmation before taking a stronger view on the stock.
