RVNL Secures ₹554-Cr Contract for Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) has won a ₹554.47-crore contract under the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) to construct nine stations along Corridor-4A. The project, awarded by K-RIDE, includes one elevated and eight at-grade stations, along with civil, structural, and architectural works. It will be executed over 24 months through a joint venture, with RVNL holding a 51% stake and Rithwik Projects Private Ltd. (RPPL) holding 49%.
Despite securing new contracts, RVNL’s Q3 earnings saw a dip—net profit fell 13.1% YoY to ₹311.6 crore, while revenue declined 2.6% to ₹4,567.4 crore. EBITDA stood at ₹239.4 crore, reflecting a 3.9% decline, though the EBITDA margin remained stable at 5.2%. The company reaffirmed its ₹22,000-crore revenue guidance for FY25, with key metro and transmission projects nearing completion and 40% of annual execution expected in Q4.
