NAM India: Strong AUM & Profit Growth Ahead

NAM-INDIA
Nippon Life India Asset Management (NAM India) is one of India’s leading AMCs, benefiting from rising SIP participation, financialisation of savings and increasing retail mutual-fund penetration. In Q1 FY27, revenue from operations rose 26.4% YoY to ₹766.9 crore, while PAT increased 27% to ₹503.7 crore. Closing AUM grew 16% YoY to ₹8.62 lakh crore, while MF QAAUM reached ₹7.52 lakh crore. Latest News: Quarterly systematic flows rose 13% YoY to ₹11,030 crore, while Nippon India Mutual Fund crossed 4 crore investor folios, highlighting strong retail reach. Corporate Action/Catalysts: FY26 dividend payout was ₹21.50/share, including ₹12.50 final dividend. Strategic expansion of ETFs, passive products, retail distribution and AIFs provides further growth avenues. Strong AUM growth, market-share gains and high operating leverage support the long-term thesis, while market volatility and valuation remain key risks.
