Milky Mist Dairy Food: This Month's Standout Performer
The month's top mover:
MILKYMIST
is up roughly 52% over the past month, making it the best-performing name in the "high return" screens right now , and unlike a lot of monthly top-gainers, this one has genuine fundamentals behind the move rather than pure speculation.
Why it moved:
1)The stock listed on NSE/BSE in mid-August at ₹140, debuting at an 18% premium (₹165)
It then surged nearly 20% over two sessions in early September after Q1 FY27 results, consolidated net profit came in at ₹64.68 crore, a roughly tenfold jump year-on-year, on revenue growth of 43.6%
2)Cheese revenue grew 38%, paneer (its largest category) grew 34%, genuine volume-led growth, not one-off gains
3)Management flagged that its existing Perundurai facility has capacity headroom to support 3–3.5x current revenue before needing new capex, a credible growth runway without near-term dilution risk
What tempers my enthusiasm:
1)This is a very freshly listed stock (barely a month old), post-IPO price discovery is often exaggerated in both directions, and a 10% upper-circuit move on a single earnings print is a sign of thin float and high volatility, not necessarily sustainable re-rating
2)One blockbuster quarter doesn't establish a track record; FMCG/dairy names need to prove they can repeat this across seasons and input-cost cycles (milk procurement costs are a known variable here)
3)No long public trading history means limited data on how it behaves in a broader market downturn
