Shriram Finance, HAL, Siemens Energy Fall Nearly 4%

SHRIRAMFIN
, Hindustan Aeronautics and Siemens Energy India emerged among the top Nifty 100 laggards on September 15, falling nearly 4% during intraday trade. The decline was driven by profit booking and weak market sentiment, with rising crude oil prices and expectations around US Federal Reserve policy adding to pressure. Shriram Finance shares fell 3.5% to ₹992.40, after touching an intraday low of ₹988. The stock has declined around 11.5% over the past month, with investors booking profits ahead of the company's investor meet. HAL shares declined 3.06% to ₹4,756.60, extending a correction after the defence stock rallied last week following the Defence Acquisition Council's approval for procurement of Advanced Light Helicopters. Siemens Energy India shares also fell 2.84% to ₹3,091.50. The weakness followed a recent clarification issued by the company regarding media reports about its Blue portfolio and cleaner high-voltage grid infrastructure. Overall, the Nifty 100 was down around 0.50%, reflecting the broader cautious sentiment in the market.
