SEPC Expands Its Water and Infrastructure Order Book
SEPC (
SEPC
) is seeing a sharp increase in activity across its water, infrastructure and international engineering businesses, with Q1 FY27 revenue rising 40% YoY despite margin pressure from its overseas operations.
The more interesting part is the order pipeline. SEPC's business spans water and wastewater treatment, power transmission and distribution, industrial infrastructure and municipal services, giving it exposure to several areas of India's infrastructure spending. Its recent results indicate that the company is moving into a period where execution of its order book will be more important than simply winning new projects.
For investors, SEPC is an interesting small-cap infrastructure name to track because its earnings trajectory could change materially if domestic execution improves while the company manages the margin challenges in its overseas business.
