Gillette India stabilizes but the trend is not fixed

Gillette India finished at ₹7,052, a modest improvement from the intraday low but still marginally below its 20-day moving average of ₹7,071. The 55-day average stands much higher at ₹7,357, which keeps the primary trend pointed lower. Price has been forming lower highs for months, so a one-day green close does not by itself change the underlying technical picture. Momentum, however, is becoming less negative. MACD is at about -72.76 while the signal line is near -87.20, producing a positive histogram around 14.44. That bullish crossover below the zero line often marks fading selling pressure. It should be treated as an alert to watch the price action, not as a completed buy signal, because the stock remains below both moving averages. The first hurdle for

is ₹7,070–7,100. If price establishes itself above that band, the rebound can target the ₹7,300–7,360 zone where the 55-day average awaits. Conversely, ₹6,900–6,950 is the key nearby floor. A breakdown there would preserve the downtrend and reduce the value of the improving MACD reading. The chart has moved from heavy weakness to a possible stabilisation phase; the deciding evidence will be whether Gillette can convert the 20-day average into support and begin printing higher lows.
