Mazagon Dock slips below ₹1,800 as trend weakens

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders closed near ₹1,754 after a sharp fall, taking the stock below the ₹1,800 level. The price is trading well below the 20-day moving average near ₹2,029 and the 55-day average around ₹2,297. Both averages are declining, confirming a clear lower-high and lower-low structure.

₹1,700–₹1,750 is now the immediate support area. The stock has approached this zone after a steep decline, so a technical bounce is possible. However, a close below ₹1,700 would keep the selling pressure intact and could expose the next support region near ₹1,600. The stochastic oscillator is deeply oversold, with %K near 10.7 and %D near 10.9. This shows that the fall has become stretched, but the indicator has not yet delivered a bullish crossover. Oversold conditions can support a bounce, but they do not by themselves confirm a trend reversal. For recovery, Mazagon Dock must reclaim ₹2,030, its 20-day average. A move above ₹2,300 would be a more meaningful improvement in the broader trend. Until then, the stock remains technically weak, with ₹1,700 as the level buyers need to defend.
