TD Power Systems (TDPOWERSYS), the latest fundamental news
TDPOWERSYS
TD Power Systems (TDPOWERSYS), the latest fundamental news remains strongly positive: the company has just announced a ₹192 crore order through its US subsidiary, TDPS USA, from a leading multinational for its own-design 2-pole generators for gas-turbine applications in the US, with deliveries scheduled from August 2027 to January 2028; importantly, this represents TD Power’s entry into the global 2-pole generator market using its in-house design. The company had already delivered a very strong Q1 FY27, with consolidated revenue up 72.1% YoY to ₹640 crore, PAT up 72.3% to ₹86.3 crore, and EBITDA up 71.9% to ₹121.7 crore; order inflow surged 87% YoY to ₹734 crore, with exports contributing about 93%, while the order book stood at approximately ₹2,207 crore. Management has also raised FY27 revenue guidance to around ₹2,600 crore and indicated that order inflow is running above ₹700 crore per quarter, supported by strong demand from AI/data centres, grid stabilisation, conventional power generation, renewables, geothermal, hydro and waste-to-energy. Another important development is the recent allotment/listing of 12.5 lakh preferential shares at ₹600 per share, which strengthens the company's capital base but also creates some dilution for existing shareholders. Overall, the ₹192 crore US order, exceptional order inflows, strong earnings growth, high export exposure and rising global power-generation demand are major positives for TD Power Systems; the key risks are valuation, execution of the rapidly increasing order book and the ability to sustain the current high growth rate.
