Adani Enterprises

ADANIENT
has received an upgrade in its long-term credit rating from CARE AA-; Stable to CARE AA; Stable, marking the highest-ever rating in the company’s credit history. CARE Ratings has also reaffirmed its short-term rating at CARE A1+. Rating Upgrade Reflects Financial Flexibility - The upgrade reflects improved financial flexibility following a ₹15,000 crore qualified institutional placement (QIP) completed in July 2026 and the proposed sale of a 5.54% stake in Adani Airports Holdings Ltd at a pre-money valuation of ₹1.67 lakh crore. - CARE Ratings also expects AEL's profitability to improve in FY27, supported by the stabilisation of Kutch Copper operations, continued growth in non-aero airport revenue and the commencement and progressive ramp-up of Navi Mumbai International Airport. Highest-Ever Rating for Adani Enterprises - The upgrade covers ₹16,505 crore of bank facilities, while ₹4,000 crore of long-term bank facilities were also upgraded to CARE AA; Stable. The rating on ₹240 crore of short-term facilities was reaffirmed at CARE A1+, and the company's NCD rating was upgraded to CARE AA; Stable. - Adani Enterprises said the upgrade provides an independent assessment of its capital management and credit profile as it continues to develop businesses across airports, data centres, defence and aerospace, mining services, and road, metro and rail infrastructure.
