NTPC Green Energy has announced the commissioning of the third part of 68.22 MW capacity from its 200 MW Dahod Solar PV Project.
Capacity Addition Through Subsidiary:
The project is being developed through a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy. With the latest 68.22 MW capacity becoming operational, another portion of the 200 MW solar project has moved into commercial operation.
The phased commissioning approach allows completed portions of the project to start contributing renewable power while the remaining capacity progresses toward commissioning.
NTPC Group Capacity Reaches 10,911 MW:
Following the latest addition, the commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group has increased to 10,911 MW.
The commissioning further expands NTPC Green Energy’s operational renewable-energy portfolio as the company continues to develop solar, wind and other clean-energy projects across India.
The Dahod project’s remaining capacity will be important to watch as it progresses toward full 200 MW commissioning.
