Best Buy India GCC to Become AI-Native Centre:
Under the agreement, the Best Buy India entity will transition to TCS while continuing to support Best Buy’s business.
The centre will gradually be transformed into an AI-native Capability Center, combining Best Buy’s retail and enterprise knowledge with TCS’ technology, engineering, AI and global delivery capabilities.
The teams will work on:
Redesigning workflows using AI
Developing AI-powered experiences and solutions
Scaling AI capabilities across Best Buy’s business
Supporting technology and engineering requirements
TCS Expands Its GCC Strategy
The transaction strengthens TCS’ presence in the Global Capability Center segment, where technology companies are increasingly helping enterprises build, operate and transform their captive technology centres.
Best Buy employees will transition into TCS’ global organisation, giving them access to TCS’ learning ecosystem, AI skills and global opportunities.
For TCS, the agreement combines an existing retail technology relationship with its broader AI, engineering and global delivery capabilities, while Best Buy retains the business and technology knowledge of its India team.
Financial terms of the newly announced agreement were not disclosed by the companies.
