Shree Refrigerations wins ₹26.44 crore GRSE order

Shree Refrigerations Limited (BSE: 544458) has secured a ₹26.44 crore defence order from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), excluding GST. Delivery is scheduled by 5 July 2027. This is a meaningful order, equivalent to approximately 17.2% of FY26 revenue. It strengthens the company's defence-sector order book and provides additional revenue visibility. The company's FY26 revenue grew 56% to ₹154 crore, while net profit increased to approximately ₹22 crore. However, operating margins declined from 27.3% to 21.4%, which deserves attention. The biggest concern is cash conversion. The company has historically faced a lengthy working-capital cycle, and additional orders could increase funding requirements before customer payments arrive. The contract is expected to be executed over the coming quarters, with delivery by July 2027. Its actual contribution to revenue and profit will depend on manufacturing progress, delivery milestones and contract margins. No reliable order-specific profit estimate is available. One important point investors should not miss is that the company already had an order book exceeding ₹270 crore at FY26 closing. This order strengthens an existing growth pipeline rather than independently transforming the business.
