Kalpataru Projects wins ₹2,349 crore in new orders
Kalpataru Projects International Limited (NSE: KPIL) announced new orders worth approximately ₹2,349 crore on October 21, 2026. The orders are in its power transmission and distribution, and buildings and factories businesses. FY27 year-to-date order inflows have crossed ₹22,000 crore.
The new orders add to the company’s project pipeline across infrastructure-related businesses. For context, its FY26 revenue was ₹27,143 crore, making the latest order inflow equivalent to roughly 8.6% of that annual revenue.
My view: The order inflow supports business visibility, but order intake is not the same as recognised revenue or profit. The timing of execution, working-capital requirements and margins across projects will determine the financial contribution. Investors should assess whether strong order inflows are accompanied by stable cash conversion.
What to watch next: Order-book execution, revenue growth, operating margins and working-capital movement in upcoming financial results.
Stance: Constructive on order visibility, while monitoring execution and cash flow.
