Share Price Target: Brokerages see up to 31% upside potential despite Q1 profit decline - Here's what's behind their positive stance

HUL Share Price Target: Brokerages remained largely constructive on Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) after the FMCG major reported a 3.2 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,680 crore for the June quarter, even as revenue from operations rose 10.3 per cent, marking its strongest sales growth in 13 quarters. Following the results, Morgan Stanley maintained its 'Equal Weight' rating with a target price of Rs 2,480, while Goldman Sachs and Citi reiterated their 'Buy' recommendations with target prices of Rs 2,450 and Rs 2,650, respectively. Analysts highlighted broad-based double-digit sales growth, resilient demand across rural and urban markets, improving performance in Home Care and Beauty & Wellbeing segments, and management's confidence in sustaining margins despite inflationary pressures.
