Restructuring: Stock up 3.5% as garment maker plans major capacity expansion

Lux Industries Restructuring: Innerwear maker Lux Industries is undergoing a restructuring and has outlined an ambitious capacity expansion plan to support its long-term growth. The company said its existing 8 lakh sq. ft. manufacturing facility in West Bengal is currently operating at 70-80% utilisation. The stock rose over 3.55 per cent on Monday. "The company will expand its existing 8 lakh sq. ft. Dankuni facility by another 12 lakh sq. ft., creating a massive 20 lakh sq. ft. manufacturing campus. Once fully operational, this highly automated facility will set new benchmarks in production efficiency and scale, cementing the Lux Cozi Group's position as one of the leading Indian apparel manufacturer across the world," the company said in its exchnage filing.
