reported strong Q2 FY27 standalone results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Net profit rose 35.2% year-on-year to ₹3,353.76 crore from ₹2,479.74 crore. Revenue from operations increased 34.1% to ₹20,003.43 crore from ₹14,922.05 crore.
EBITDA grew 36.7% to approximately ₹4,171 crore, while the EBITDA margin improved to 20.9% from 20.5%, indicating healthy operating performance.
Total vehicle sales increased around 20% to 15.49 lakh units. Exports grew approximately 41% to 7.79 lakh units, while domestic sales rose around 4% to 7.70 lakh units. The Chetak electric scooter business recorded its strongest-ever quarter, with volumes more than doubling year-on-year. Domestic revenue from KTM and Triumph motorcycle businesses also increased 45%.
Fundamentally, profit growth exceeding revenue growth and improving margins are encouraging signs. Strong exports and EV expansion provide additional growth opportunities. However, investors should monitor raw-material costs, international demand and domestic sales momentum. These figures are standalone results, and consolidated performance may differ.
My View:
Strong earnings growth, rising exports and improved margins make the quarterly performance encouraging. Sustaining profitability and export momentum will be key.
What to watch:
Export demand and sales volumes.
EBITDA margins and input costs.
Chetak EV growth.
Domestic two-wheeler demand.
