Jain Irrigation Wins ₹118 Cr Solar Pump Order

: Jain Irrigation Systems has secured a Letter of Empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 5,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across Maharashtra. The project, valued at approximately ₹117.96 crore including GST, will be executed under the state’s ‘Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana’. The scope includes design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of solar water pumping systems in 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP variants. The order strengthens Jain Irrigation’s presence in solar-powered agricultural infrastructure and supports the company’s irrigation and renewable-energy businesses.
