The scrip opened at Rs. 552.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 560.80 and Rs. 552.00 respectively. So far 2415 shares were traded on the counter. The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 664.10 on 08-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 400.00 on 07-Apr-2025. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 575.85 and Rs. 544.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7574.70 crore. The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.12% and 34.40% respectively. Welspun Enterprises has been awarded a landmark contract by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to design, build and operate a 910 million litres per day (MLD) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Panjrapur, Maharashtra. The project, valued at around Rs 3,145 crore, includes comprehensive civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works, along with the construction of a treated water sump and pumping station. The total contract value includes an Operation & Maintenance (O&M) component of around Rs 1,156 crore and excludes a provisional sum of around Rs 29 crore. The design-build phase is scheduled for completion within 48 months, following which the company will operate and maintain the facility for a period of 15 years. Welspun Enterprises (WEL) (Formerly known as Welspun Projects), part of the Welspun Group, is an operating Company as well as a holding company. The Company’s key activity is in the infrastructure business.
