Vesuvius India Closes Visakhapatnam Plant, Shifts to New Facility in Parawada

Vesuvius India Limited has ceased operations at its Visakhapatnam (VS) plant effective October 13, 2025, marking a strategic shift in its manufacturing footprint. The plant, which contributed ₹337.92 crore (18.08%) to FY24 revenue and had a net worth of ₹258.72 lakh, is being replaced by a new state-of-the-art Al-Si Monolithic Plant in Parawada Industrial Area, Anakapalli. The company has assured that the closure will not have any adverse material impact on business or revenue, as the new facility is now fully operational and designed to enhance production efficiency and technological capabilities. This transition reflects Vesuvius India’s focus on modernization and operational excellence. The move aligns with broader industry trends of upgrading infrastructure to improve competitiveness and scalability. Disclosed under SEBI norms, the closure underscores transparent communication with stakeholders. Investors will monitor how seamlessly the new plant absorbs the output and whether it drives future growth and margin improvement for the company.
