GPT Infraprojects – Price Compression With Heavy Volume: Sharp Move Likely Ahead

GPTINFRA
1️⃣ Heavy Selling Pressure, but Price Holding Relatively Better Despite repeated high-volume selling phases, price has not broken down aggressively. This suggests absorption of supply — a sign that informed buyers may be active at lower levels. 2️⃣ Price Compression Near the Falling Trendline Price has been moving within a tightening structure under a long-term falling trendline. Compression usually precedes a sharp directional move — either a breakout or breakdown. 3️⃣ Major Support Zone Still Intact The horizontal support near the ₹93–95 zone has held multiple times. Wicks show demand appearing on dips. 4️⃣ RSI in a Falling Channel (Momentum Squeeze) RSI is coiling inside a descending channel. A breakout in RSI above the channel would be an early momentum confirmation. Currently, RSI is weak but stabilizing. 5️⃣ Volume Pattern Signals Imbalance Huge volume spikes have not resulted in new lows. This is a classic sign of capitulation attempts being absorbed. Market participants are positioning — indicating a buildup before expansion. 6️⃣ What This Structure Suggests Price is falling slower than volume implies → bear exhaustion Support holding firm → demand zone respected Trendline pressure building → breakout test ahead Momentum compressing → energy storing for a strong move Overall, the chart indicates a high-energy squeeze, meaning a sharp move — either up or down — is likely soon. Confirmation will come from the direction of the breakout (price + RSI). 📢 Disclaimer: For educational and technical analysis purposes only; not investment advice. 👤 Rajneesh Sharma – SEBI Registered Research Analyst (INH000020332)
