Consolidated revenue from operations surged 39% YoY to ₹91,708 crore against ₹66,058 crore in Q2FY26. EBITDA increased 42% to ₹13,757 crore, while net profit jumped 59% to an all-time quarterly high of ₹7,533 crore compared with ₹4,741 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EPS improved to ₹33.93 from ₹21.35. Segment-wise, Aluminium Upstream EBITDA grew 55% to ₹7,009 crore, supported by higher realizations and operational performance. Copper EBITDA surged 164% to a record ₹1,673 crore, while Aluminium Downstream EBITDA increased 26% to ₹329 crore. Novelis also reported a 20% rise in adjusted EBITDA to US$508 million, supported by cost optimization and improved operational performance at its Oswego plant. Going forward, the commissioning of the Bay Minette facility and expansion of value-added aluminum and copper businesses are expected to strengthen long-term growth prospects. However, consolidated net debt-to-EBITDA increased to 1.80x from 1.23x a year ago, warranting monitoring. Overall, Hindalco delivered a strong quarterly performance, reflecting healthy earnings momentum.
