NIBE SECURES ARMS MANUFACTURING LICENSE FROM MINISTRY

NIBE Defence and Aerospace Limited (NDAL), a subsidiary of

, has secured a manufacturing license from the Ministry of Home Affairs for firearms and ammunition production, covering pistols, rifles, and machine guns. Recently, the company secured a Rs 292.69 crore order from the Indian Army for ground equipment supply. This move strengthens the company's position in India's defence manufacturing sector. This manufacturing license approval will strengthen the company's long-term position in the defence sector despite current operational challenges, providing enhanced capabilities in firearms and ammunition production alongside it's existing aerospace and defence component manufacturing operations.
