RVNL AND GPT INFRA IN THE NEWS AFTER FORMING JOINT VENTURE FOR NEW PROJECT

and have formed a Joing Venture (JV) for executing a major infrastructure project awarded by Northern Railway for the design and construction of a new rail-cum-road bridge over the Ganga river in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). The project involves the construction of New Rail Cum Road Bridge No. 11, located about 50 metres downstream of the existing Malviya Bridge near Kashi Railway Station. The scope of work includes the design and construction of both substructure and superstructure of the bridge, comprising eight spans of 108.5 metres and two spans of 103.3 metres using open web steel girders. In view of government's infrastructure push in the railway sector, both companies stand to benefit from this joint venture.
