Hikal Signs Multi-Year Global Contract with European Company

Hikal Limited has signed a multi-year contract with a Europe-based global agrochemical company to manufacture and supply a specialised agrochemical product to international markets. The agreement has been signed by Hikal’s Crop Protection division and covers contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) activities. The company has already completed process development and scale-up of the product after nearly three years of collaborative work. Commercial supplies are expected to begin towards the end of FY 2026–27, subject to regulatory approvals across global markets. Hikal expects volumes to increase progressively as approvals are secured. The development strengthens the company’s Crop Protection portfolio and expands its long-term manufacturing partnership with a global customer. The contract also highlights Hikal’s capabilities in research, process chemistry and commercial-scale manufacturing. The company has not disclosed the financial value of the agreement.
