Bajaj Consumer Care falls 10% despite 66% Q2 profit jump

Bajaj Consumer Care fell 9.91% to Rs 468.50 after Q2 results; 447.60 is the support and 567.30 the resistance to watch. Bajaj Consumer Care Limited [

BAJAJCON
] fell 9.91% to Rs 468.50 on 15 October 2026, a day after its Q2 FY27 results. The stock opened at Rs 522 and hit a low of Rs 461. The numbers were strong. Consolidated net profit rose 65.9% to Rs 70.2 crore from Rs 42.3 crore. Revenue grew 25.5% to Rs 332.8 crore from Rs 265.3 crore. EBITDA margin widened to 24.7% from 18.1%. The company flagged commodity costs as a monitorable. My read is that the market is pricing margin risk, not weak growth. On the chart, volume was 7.41 million, well above recent sessions, and RSI is 41.31. Today’s candle engulfs about six weeks of range. That is a negative signal, and I am not sure the selling is done. A close above 567.30 would change my view. I am watching 447.60 first. That is the recent swing low and the nearest support. A close below it would open more downside. On the upside, 567.30 is the resistance to clear. Until one of these breaks, the near-term bias stays cautious. Disclosure: I do not hold any position in this stock. This is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
