Bharti Airtel shares rise 2.5% after Q2 profit jumps 31%

Bharti Airtel Limited rose 2.45% to Rs 2,107.2 after Q2 profit grew 30.9%, with Rs 2,125 resistance and Rs 1,992 support in focus. Bharti Airtel Limited [ BHARTIARTL ] rose 2.45% to Rs 2,107.2 on the NSE on Friday, 6 November 2026. This was the first session after its Q2 results, with 17.1 million shares traded. The results came after market hours on 5 November. Consolidated net profit rose 30.9% to Rs 8,888 crore from Rs 6,792 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations grew 16.7% to Rs 60,878 crore from Rs 52,145 crore. Profit grew nearly twice as fast as revenue, and postpaid net additions of 1.2 million were the company’s strongest in a single quarter. The trend is strongly bullish and the price sits about 3% below the record high of Rs 2,174.50. Immediate resistance is Rs 2,125, and a close above Rs 2,174.50 would confirm a fresh high. RSI at 75.43 is above 70, so a pause or a pullback would be normal after a sharp run. A close below Rs 1,992 support would weaken this view. Next, watch the Rs 2,125 hurdle and whether postpaid additions continue next quarter. Stance: positive while Rs 1,992 holds, with Rs 2,174.50 the level to clear. Disclosure I do not hold any position in this stock. This is not a recommendation to buy or sell. Investments in securities markets are subject to market risks.
