shares declined 1.38% to ₹1,329.25 on September 16, 2026, after a sharp rally in recent months. The stock had gained around 83% from its earlier levels and touched a fresh 52-week high on September 15, before giving up some ground in Wednesday’s session. The latest development in focus is a change in the company’s senior finance leadership. Alexander Poempner has resigned as Group Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, with the transition scheduled to take effect on November 4, 2026. The Board has appointed Ankit Nayyar as the new Group CFO from the same date. Nayyar joined GMM Pfaudler as Deputy CFO in May 2026 and has nearly two decades of experience across pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, manufacturing and financial services. Poempner will continue with the company until December 31, 2026, to support an orderly handover. He has stated that he is leaving to pursue opportunities outside the GMM Pfaudler Group. Despite Wednesday’s decline, the stock remains up around 21% year-to-date, highlighting the strong price momentum seen during 2026. Disclaimer: Investments in securities are subject to market risk.
